One Reader's Ramblings

Ummm… WOW!   First books in a long time that really blew me away.   This “series” (for lack of a better word… not sure what to call it when it’s only 2 books) is awesome.   I completely love Wren and Ever.   Best fictional couple for me so far this year.

This book was… as I sit here so many adjectives come to mind, but the only one that really fits is… forgettable.   Sorry Karice, but it really wasn’t anything to write home about (or much of a blog).   The reviews went on and on about how sweet it was (the snow, the Christmas spirit, etc) and it was sweet… sickly-give-you-a-toothache-sweet.   

Invisible by Cecily Anne Paterson.   This was an unusual book for me to choose.   Nothing weird or paranormal, just a good book about a young girl coming out of her shell and learning about who she really is and can be.   

I just finished what I would have to say is the weirdest book I’ve ever read.   It deals with Nephilim, which I have read about before but this one is, in a way, so different than any of the others.  

So I just finished Spark , by Brigid Kemmerer.   Can’t believe it took me so long to read the whole thing.   Or maybe I can.   I read Elementals , and Storm a while back.   They were great!   As one reviewer said: “Five hot guys with paranormal powers, what’s not to love?”
